Tesicca Truong presents Co-design to the IAP2

Tesicca Truong is a member of the board of directors for the Social Art of Architecture Youth Society.  She was recently invited to share her experiences as a youth co-design artist for the International Association of Public Participation.  I am pleased to have known Tesicca since 2010 when I was a teacher sponsor for the youth-led conferences of Plan-it Earth 2010 and 2011.  She, and a group of students who included Hobson Lin, Veronika Bylicki, and Grace Wicken, formed a team to organize sustainability conferences.   Their involvement as youth drew young people across the district to gather and talk of sustainability.  Since this time, Tesicca has influenced the school district and the region by founding Youth4tap and becoming a member of the mayor's Engaged City Task Force.

Tesicca is an environmental activist and youth leader who inspires!  Here, she talks of the importance of trust in youth engagement. Towards the end of the video, there is a Q and A and Stanley gets involved to answer questions. Enjoy!
